With this scarf we tell the story of the Herbert & Mo monkey, our logo.
The original Brass Monkey was given in good humour to the late Doc by his college friends, intended to sit proudly on the smokebox of his steam engine. The gift a playful nod to the temperature gauges once found on the bonnets of vintage cars, in reference to the saying "Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey".
